Janice A. Smith, CPA, is a senior manager with experience in providing audit, review, and consulting services to not-for-profit, governmental, privately held, and publicly-traded clients, including involvement in employee benefit plan audits. During her career, Ms. Smith has served as a compliance audit specialist and has been involved in performing Uniform Guidance and other compliance audits for various-sized entities.

In March 2018, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) awarded Ms. Smith the Not-for-Profit Certificate II. This certification demonstrates her ability to plan, direct and report on not for profit engagements with the latest requirements for the industry. This certification demonstrates her commitment to perform the highest quality audits for this very specialized area of practice.

Ms. Smith graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting. Upon passing the CPA exam, Ms. Smith achieved the third highest score in the state of Missouri earning her the distinction of being an Elijah Watt Sells Award recipient. Ms. Smith is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
